The patient was seen in PCMS as an outpatient (on June last week 2013) and a diagnosis of vestibular migraine:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3105632/ was made. The patient was counseled and put on vestibular sedatives and a migraine prophylactic Tablet Flunarizine 10 mg at bedtime to be continued daily for a few months and asked to follow up through this web-based interface.
As the patient was also found to have a past history of multiple abdominal operations ( a gastrojejunostomy approximately 10 years back followed by re-operation after a few months for stump leakage) a possibility of intermittent subacute obstruction was kept as a close differential and a follow up CT enterography planned at a later date if necessary.
