Background : On May 7, 2005, I reported to my physician about sudden sweating. After examination he found out low Pulse rate @ 62/m and high BP(160/100). On May 8, 2005 again low pulse @ 60/m and high BP @ 140/92 was observed. He referred me to a cardiologist. On May 9, after ECG and examination, cardiologist ruled out any cardiological problem and recommended for Thyroid testing alongwith lipid profile, FBS, Blood urea. The results showed a high value of TSH (8.68) and I started taking Thyronorm 25. After about three months my physician referred me to a specialist for his opinion.
