Supplementary Framework C — Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy

Clinical Prompt Layer for Vibe Rounds

Source: Bloom (1956), revised by Anderson & Krathwohl (2001).

The six cognitive levels — clinical application

Level 1 — Remember

Define, recall, list, name

Clinical application: Recall diagnostic criteria, normal ranges, drug mechanisms.

Prompt template:

#VibeRounds Ask me to name the three diagnostic criteria for [condition]
from memory — no notes.

Level 2 — Understand

Explain, summarise, describe in own words

Clinical application: Explain pathophysiology, summarise a clinical picture.

Prompt template:

#VibeRounds Ask me to explain in plain language why [symptom] occurs in
[condition] — as if explaining to a patient's family member.

Level 3 — Apply

Use knowledge in a new situation

Clinical application: Apply diagnostic criteria to a real case, use a drug calculation, select an investigation.

Prompt template:

#VibeRounds Present me with a brief clinical scenario involving
[condition]. Ask me to apply the diagnostic criteria and name the most
appropriate next investigation.

Level 4 — Analyse

Break apart, differentiate, compare

Clinical application: Distinguish between two similar diagnoses, analyse a clinical data trend, identify which finding changes the differential.

Prompt template:

#VibeRounds Ask me to compare [condition A] and [condition B] on three
clinical dimensions — and identify the single most differentiating
feature.

Level 5 — Evaluate

Judge, critique, justify, assess evidence

Clinical application: Evaluate a management plan, assess evidence quality, justify a treatment choice.

Prompt template:

#VibeRounds Present me with a management plan for [condition]. Ask me to
identify one weakness in the plan and one piece of evidence that supports
it.

Level 6 — Create

Design, generate, propose, hypothesise

Clinical application: Construct a management plan, generate a research question, design a monitoring protocol.

Prompt template:

#VibeRounds Based on this case, ask me to design a 48-hour management and
monitoring plan from scratch — then critique the plan I produce.
