Patient was diagnosed to have anasarca due to glomerular injury causing proteinuria and advised a renal biopsy. He was unable to afford it and was sent home on symptomatic medications after the treating unit in PCMS, Bhopal debated the role of steroids in such patients where ascribing a definite pattern to the glomerular injury was not feasible.

Currently (May 9, 2013) the patient appears to be asymptomatic and has restarted his job as a laborer and will hopefully repeat his urine for evaluation of the current status of proteinuria and let us know through our social worker Mr Kar.
