    • Correlate common nerve injuries (e.g., radial, ulnar, median) with resulting motor and sensory deficits.
    • Trace the arterial supply and venous drainage of the upper limb.
  3. Lower Limb — Osteology, Muscles, Nerves & Vessels
    • Identify the bones of the lower limb and their key osteological features.
    • Describe the formation of the lumbosacral plexus and its major branches.
    • Explain the fascial compartments of the thigh and leg and their muscle contents.
    • Correlate common nerve and vascular injuries with resulting clinical deficits (e.g., foot drop, claudication).
    • Describe the arches of the foot and their functional significance in gait.
  4. Thorax — Chest Wall, Mediastinum, Lungs & Heart
    • Describe the bony and muscular components of the thoracic wall and mechanics of respiration.
    • Identify the boundaries and contents of the mediastinum.
    • Describe the gross anatomy, lobes, and bronchopulmonary segments of the lungs.
    • Trace the chambers, valves, and conducting system of the heart.

  5. Abdomen — Wall, Peritoneum & Viscera
    • Describe the layers of the anterior abdominal wall and clinically relevant regions/quadrants.
    • Explain the peritoneal reflections, mesenteries, and their relation to abdominal viscera.
    • Trace the gross anatomy and relations of the stomach, liver, and intestines.
    • Describe the blood supply and lymphatic drainage of the gastrointestinal tract.
    • Identify common sites of herniation and their anatomical basis.
  6. Pelvis & Perineum
    • Describe the bony pelvis, pelvic diaphragm, and differences between male and female pelvis.
    • Identify the pelvic viscera and their peritoneal relations.
    • Describe the boundaries and contents of the perineum, including the urogenital and anal triangles.
    • Trace the blood supply, innervation, and lymphatic drainage of pelvic organs.
    • Explain the clinical significance of pelvic diameters in obstetric practice.
  7. Head & Neck
    • Identify the bones of the skull and describe the cranial fossae and their contents.
    • Trace the course and distribution of the cranial nerves.
    • Describe the triangles of the neck and their contents.
    • Explain the anatomy of the pharynx, larynx, and thyroid gland.
    • Correlate facial and scalp anatomy with common clinical presentations (e.g., facial nerve palsy).
  8. Neuroanatomy — Brain, Spinal Cord & Pathways
    • Describe the gross organization of the brain, brainstem, cerebellum, and spinal cord.
    • Trace major ascending (sensory) and descending (motor) pathways.
    • Describe the blood supply of the brain and the clinical basis of stroke syndromes.

  14. Surface, Radiological & Cross-Sectional Anatomy
    • Identify surface landmarks corresponding to underlying organs and structures.
    • Interpret normal anatomy on plain radiographs of the chest, abdomen, and limbs.
    • Identify key anatomical structures on cross-sectional CT and MRI images.
    • Correlate cross-sectional imaging anatomy with clinical examination findings.
    • Apply surface anatomy knowledge to common clinical and procedural skills (e.g., venipuncture, lumbar puncture sites).
